SA Top Sites is a free website and our main goal is to provide a tool for South African related websites to compete in a traffic contest between each other. While this is a light-hearted website with its sole purpose of having a little fun we do have to implement certain rules that every member needs to adhere to.

THE RULES

1. Signing up for an account does not mean you will get one. All accounts are subject to human review.
2. Reviews of all included sites will be made public in your websites statistics page.
3. By requesting an account you agree to all the terms and release this website from any damages resulting from reviews posted on this site.
4. SA Top Sites is open to SOUTH AFRICAN websites only. Your content must have some relevance to South Africa or else your application will be rejected.
5. No pornography, violence or hate websites will be allowed.
6. The Administrators of SA Top Sites reserve the right to either accept or reject an application.
7. The Administrators of SA Top Sites reserve the right to de-list, de-activate or delete a website without any prior notice whatsoever.
8. Once you have signed up you MUST place the tracking code on each page of your website. You will be allowed to place the tracking code on only one page of your website but bear in mind that your statistics will be inaccurate should you do this.
9. NO CHEATING is allowed. By definition cheating is the following:
1. Placing the tracking code on more than one site to build up traffic.
2. Altering the code of the banner script used to measure traffic on your site.
3. Using scripts to inaccurately target your website thereby falsifying traffic statistics.
4. Any other form as deemed by the Administrators of SA Top Sites.
10. You MAY NOT alter the button image that is created on your website by our tracking script and this includes changing the properties to attempt to hide the button from the users of your website.
11. You MUST NOT remove the link in the button code to the SA Top Sites website. This is a VERY serious offence and will be dealt with accordingly.
12. Any attempt to cause damage to either this website or the button image on your website will constitute immediate suspension.

Should any of the above rules be broken your website will be removed from the SA Top Sites and banned for life.

We will be monitoring all websites to ensure that the button images are not altered in any way and once again, failure to comply with this will constitute an immediate ban from SA Top Sites.

MANAGEMENT CLAUSES

The Service is provided on an "as is" basis without any warranty. SA Top Sites makes no condition or representation of any kind, that the service will perform to any particular standard or be free from any bugs, errors or remain unaffected by computer viruses or other similar features affecting the performance of such software. All such warranties and conditions, express or implied are expressly disclaimed, including any warranty or condition of merchantability of fitness for a particular purpose.

SA Top Sites, its Administrators, Subsidiaries and/or Employees will not be liable for any claims or damages, direct or indirect, incidental or consequential which include but are not limited to, damages for loss of profits, business interruption or loss of information, arising from the use or inability to use the Service whether such claims or damages are based in tort including negligence or based upon any other theory of liability or cause of action.
